Who It’s For
Mid-to-upper level managers with a desire to achieve better business results through the way they lead others.
Why this course
Are you aware of the different needs and motives of each individual that you lead? Do you know how to identify, grow and engage your top talent to get results?
This course is based on the book, The Leadership Code – a research-based synthesis of the critical knowledge, skills, and attributes essential for effective leadership. It draws on interviews with renowned leadership theorists, researchers, and consultants, who together have written over 60 books and thousands of articles, and administered over two million leadership 360° assessments.
Leaders that attend will learn how to better manage talent by focusing on competence, commitment, and relevance to achieve peak performance. Participants will also learn how to coach reports around difficult issues, communicate with reports in a way that engages discretionary effort and breaks through noise, and tell tactical and strategic stories to help reports understand impact. These topics will be explored through hands-on exercises, video vignettes, discussion, and a personal challenge that participants will identify and solve throughout the workshop.
