David is a regular contributor on CNBC and a renowned expert on leadership and recognition-based cultures.
During David’s tenure as CEO, Yum! Brands doubled in size to 41,000 restaurants and established itself as a global powerhouse. The corporation went from approximately 20 percent of its profits coming from outside the United States in 1997, to nearly 70 percent in 2014, while remaining an industry leader in return on invested capital. In so doing, Yum! Brands’ compound annual shareholder return has been 16% and its market capitalization has grown to nearly $32 billion from just over $4 billion.
Lisa Zangari is the Director of Learning at the Leadership Louisville Center where she heads the strategy and design of the Center’s professional development and executive education offerings (Leadership Green Room).
Prior to joining the Center, Lisa worked at a management consultancy in New York City, where she partnered closely with organizations to develop new products, launch new ventures and nurture more innovative corporate cultures. She’s led numerous leadership programs for companies like AARP, Abbott Pharmaceuticals, Citibank, Disney, Hasbro, Pfizer, The Hershey Company, and more. In addition to leading a team in North America, this invigorating work gave Lisa the opportunity to travel to Africa, Asia, South America, and Europe.
Lisa is on the board of New Roots, a local food-access nonprofit, and the Kentucky Center for the Arts Foundation Board. She also serves on the Girl Scouts Advisory Council and was recognized as one of Business First’s “20 People to Know in Career Development” in 2017.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned her M.B.A. from Texas A&M University.
