New Leadership Green Room course line-up to feature premier training curriculum

 

Area businesses agree – there’s no need to travel for the best leadership training – it’s becoming more and more available right here in the Louisville region through the Leadership Louisville Center’s Leadership Green Room course curriculum. The new course line-up continues to deliver on that promise, with courses such as “Start with Why: Finding your Leadership Purpose,” delivered by the team of best-selling author Simon Sinek; the “First-Time Manager Experience” and “Self Leadership and The One Minute Manager,” with The Ken Blanchard Companies; and David Novak will personally teach “Essential Leadership TraitsTM.” Several of the courses also include online learning platforms for flexible and sustainable learning.

This course utilizes self-reflection, feedback from others, and AI-powered insights through Cloverleaf’s online assessment platform, to teach how personality assessment data can be used to position each individual to perform at their best. The Leadership Louisville Center believes that developing leadership competencies can positively transform individuals, organizations, and entire communities. The Leadership Green Room was designed to fulfill the Center’s purpose of inspiring and equipping leaders – and those on the path to leadership – to be better and do better. The calendar of courses offered are designed to help leaders develop, practice and master the leadership trade. Just as actors visit “the green room” to prepare for their moment in the spotlight, our leadership education courses offer opportunities for individuals to execute at the highest level and enhance their professional capabilities for future success. Courses are designed for leaders at all levels, including executives, C-suite leaders, emerging leaders, new supervisors, and everything in between.

The Leadership Green Room allows the Center to play an ever more vital role in helping the business community develop their best talent, resulting in meaningful increases in leadership knowledge, capability and confidence among participants. Since the Leadership Green Room was launched in 2015, it has grown to meet the talent development needs for organizations of all types, with over 270 businesses sending participants through the leadership development courses.  A unique feature of the programming is the opportunity to learn not only from local facilitators, but the Center also brings in global thought leaders to make leading-edge curriculum accessible in the Louisville region.

The Leadership Louisville Center is a Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) approved provider and Green Room courses meet the criteria for recertification credits.  The Leadership Green Room courses can also be submitted for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) for individuals licensed to practice as certified public accountants.

All Leadership Green Room courses are hosted in the Center’s new modern learning facility at 707 W. Main Street. Designed to be a nationally-recognized center for leadership development and social innovation, the new facility is surrounded by natural light and equipped with modern technologies and amenities. Participants will enjoy a learning environment that promotes the exchange of ideas and stimulates creativity.
