Registration now open at www.leadershiplouisville.org/our-events/100-wise-women
Together with presenting sponsor Chase, the Leadership Louisville Center hosts 100 Wise Women events to bring successful women leaders – Wise Women – together with emerging women leaders to make space for strength and leadership to be acknowledged and celebrated. The events make it possible for women to build a network that will grow their confidence, courage, and connections.
The September 13th event will feature Debi Boffa, President of Thorntons LLC. Boffa has over 25 years’ experience in the convenience and fuel industry in New Zealand, Australia, and the U.S., having worked in roles across retail, sales, marketing, operations, and strategy, with a background in engineering. She’s now responsible for leading the Thorntons business, which was founded in Louisville and now is a wholly owned subsidiary of bp, which operates stores in six states, providing fresh foods, high-quality beverages, and fuel to nearly 2,000 guests in each store daily. Prior to coming to Louisville and taking over leadership of Thorntons, Boffa served as both the Head of Country and Managing Director of bp New Zealand. Attendees will get to know her story and take away ‘wise words’ to influence their leadership journey. Like all 100 Wise Women events, attendees will foster deep, meaningful connections that go beyond your typical “networking.”
Registration is now open for the September 13th event at www.leadershiplouisville.org/our-events/100-wise-women/. This event will be held from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at The Olmsted, 3701 Frankfort Ave., on the campus of Masonic Homes of Kentucky. Tickets are $50, with savings available for nonprofits and members of the Leadership Louisville Center. Proceeds from the event benefit the Joan Riehm Women’s Leadership Fund.
