Learning Outcomes
In a newly developed first-time manager curriculum, Blanchard identifies four skills and four conversations all managers need to master. Participants will also learn:
- Manager Mindset – learn the mindset required for a successful transition from individual contributor to manager
- Four Conversations Model – learn a highly effective framework for understanding the conversations needed to manage people and performance
- Four Essential Skills – learn how to have purposeful conversations that create positive, productive relationships
Online Learning
After the workshop, participants have access to the First-Time Manager Challenge, an online portal which guides learners through a set of tasks to practice skills back on the job. They also have access to the Blanchard app, workshop videos, and worksheets for a full year.
