Marta Miranda-Straub to lead Dec. 13th course on developing strong relationships among diverse teams

with Marta Miranda-Straub, Founder & President, Catapult Now, LLC, and former President and CEO of The Center for Women and Families

Who it’s for

Executive leaders, HR personnel, directors, managers and supervisors interested in developing and maintaining mutually respectful, dynamic and efficient relationships with colleagues and teams in our diverse and changing workplace.

Why this course?

Do your leaders have the courage required to create an environment of trust and inclusion?

Today’s workplaces are bringing together more and more individuals who have vastly different backgrounds and experiences. These differences can be harnessed for incredible innovation and better problem-solving. However, if not proactively led, diverse teams can bring about barriers to understanding, communication, and ultimately, the effectiveness of the entire organization.

Leaders today have an opportunity to be active participants in creating safe and respectful work environments for their diverse teams. This not only builds trust but can enhance our ability to win the hearts and minds of team members, colleagues and customers.

This course is designed for leaders to deepen their awareness, knowledge and commitment to engage in courageous conversations and be a role model in today’s new world of work. In this highly interactive, hands-on training, participants will learn how to make more conscious decisions, looking beneath the surface to see what may be influencing situations, and create more inclusive organizational cultures.

Learning Outcomes

  • Increase personal/professional knowledge and understanding of implicit bias and cultural humility
  • Learn methods of engaging others in discussing challenging topics that build an inclusive organizational culture and climate
  • Gain tools to design policy and practices that create safe and respectful work environments
