Attendance at the Opening Retreat - Development of a successful leadership class takes time and commitment. You must be with us to become a part of the class and the experience. This begins with the Opening Retreat, which is mandatory in its entirety. The retreat will begin on the morning of August 20, 2020. The retreat will conclude by 5:00 p.m. on August 21, 2020. A last-minute conflict with any portion of the retreat will prevent you from participating in the class this year. You may then re-apply for a future session. It will not be possible to defer to a future session of Ignite Louisville.
I have read the Opening Retreat policy.
Class Attendance -Program days take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Requests in writing for absences up to eight hours will be considered on a case by case basis. Absence from more than one program day (or equivalent hours) could result in dismissal from the program. Please see the Satisfaction Guarantee Policy
I have read the Class Attendance and Satisfaction Guarantee policies.
IGNITE Louisville Challenge - A major component of the program is the IGNITE Louisville Challenge, which is a small group community service project that puts leadership learnings into practice. This project will require time outside of program days, and it is mandatory that each participant is actively engaged with his or her project.
I have read the IGNITE Louisville Challenge policy.
Tuition - By accepting your invitation to the Ignite Louisville program, you also accept responsibility for the program tuition of $3,800. You are obligated to make this payment in full by Monday, Aug. 10.
You are responsible for this tuition even if you fail to complete the program, if you withdraw from the program (including withdrawals before the program begins), or if you are dismissed from the program. No tuition will be refunded. Additionally, as you were selected for a specific session of the Ignite Louisville program, it will not be possible to change or defer to a future session. Please see Satisfaction Guarantee Policy for potential exceptions related to COVID-19 crisis.
I have read the tuition policy.
Change in Status - Your selection into the Ignite Louisville class was based on a variety of criteria, including the company or organization you represent. Should you change employers between the time of your acceptance and the Opening Retreat in August, the Leadership Louisville Center reserves the right to reconsider and rescind, if necessary, your invitation to participate in the program.
I have read the Change in Status policy.
Commitment as a Member - Your participation in the class is a privilege that carries the responsibility and expectation of continued involvement with us through the form of attendance at events and annual membership dues (see benefits of membership). We also hope we can count on your ongoing word-of-mouth support to promote our programs.
In consideration of my acceptance for participation in the Ignite Louisville program, I do for myself, my heirs and personal representatives hereby and forever release Leadership Louisville Center, their officers, employees, affiliates, successors and agents from any and all manner of actions, causes of action, debts, claims, demands, or liability for any harm or injury I may sustain arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in the Ignite Louisville program.
