Applications are now open through August 3, 2018 for the next two 7-month classes. One will run from October 2018 – April 2019 and the second will run from April – October 2019. Visit www.leadershiplouisville.org/ignite-louisville/ for complete program and application details, or contact Angella Wilson at (502) 561-5221, email@example.com.
Ignite Louisville is a seven-month program that is the region’s highest credential for emerging leaders. Participants enjoy exclusive access to leadership training from the region’s top corporations, including partners such as Norton Healthcare, Brown-Forman Corporation, the U.S. Army, BB&T, GE, Horseshoe S. Indiana., Humana, Inc., Northwestern Mutual, and Yum! Brands, Inc. In addition to the program’s core curriculum, Ignite Louisville teams participate in the Ignite Louisville Challenge and take on a project proposed by a local nonprofit, gaining hands-on experience performing on a team and serving the community. Participating nonprofits benefit from the expertise and energy of the teams, who each invest hundreds of hours with their nonprofit agency. The challenge component comes in as the teams are competing to be named a winner to receive a contribution for their nonprofit partners. Nonprofits interested in working with an Ignite Louisville team may submit a proposal July 30 through August 31, 2018. An Employer’s view of Ignite Louisville:
“Brown-Forman has been a long-time supporter of this program because we believe it is an excellent way to develop important skills for our up-and-coming leaders. Ignite Louisville teaches participants how to influence without authority, leverage diversity, diagnose issues, and lead change – skills that they practice with nonprofit agencies of their choosing. Our employees bring these leadership skills back to their day jobs and can apply their learning to the roles they have today and will have in the future.”
– Kirsten Hawley, SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer, Brown-Forman Corporation

“What a great experience! It was a truly fun and informative journey. I feel so much better equipped to take on leadership roles and am excited about continuing to be engaged in the community.”
– Allison Brown, Partner, Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs LLP
