At the Leadership Louisville Center, we know that our region is stronger when its leadership is inclusive of all who make up our community – and that we have a responsibility to do the work to make it happen. Inequities continue to contribute to a lack of diversity in leadership positions.
Diversity in leadership doesn’t happen without intention and meaningful action – by leaders like you, who are in a position to pay it forward. We can and must be at the forefront of change.
As an alum or supporter of the Center, you’ve already played a part moving the needle. Despite all the impact so far, now is the time for us all to do more – and we need you.
How our programs help close the diverse leadership gap:
We work to level the playing field for under-served leaders by providing the skills and connections necessary to move themselves and their organizations forward.
We strive to create an environment where decision-makers are challenged to understand their own biases and develop close, dynamic relationships with individuals they might otherwise never have the chance to meet.
Louisville’s future is shaped by better connected leaders with broader perspectives as graduates continue on paths to decision-making roles in the community.
The Center is proud to have built momentum in our efforts to contribute toward creating a more inclusive community, but it couldn’t have happened without our scholarship funding. Through the intentionality of our recruiting and generosity of our community, we’ve been able to drive the needle forward in 2021, with 39% of the participants in our programs being racially or ethnically diverse.
Please make an investment in our scholarship fund today.
We know that there are so many diverse leaders we could impact with even more support – from the staff of your favorite nonprofits, to Black entrepreneurs growing their businesses, to untapped talent and emerging leaders in the area. Your gift will allow us to scale up this work, and helps create a better community for us all.
Thank you for your support for the Center, and your commitment to creating a more inclusive Louisville.
