Mick Cornett, Mayor of Oklahoma City, was named “Public Official of the Year” in 2010 by Governing Magazine. He was also the runner-up of London-based City Mayors Foundation’s “2010 World Mayor Award.”

Louisville, Kentucky (May 29, 2013) – In partnership with the Office of the Mayor, the Leadership Louisville Center is announcing the date and theme for the 2013 Leadership Louisville Luncheon to be held on August 29, featuring the Honorable Mick Cornett, Mayor of Oklahoma City.  The annual event will again convene the region’s most influential leaders in business, government, nonprofits and civic engagement.  This year, the reach will be extended statewide to initiate a conversation on the importance of making choices to chart the future of Louisville as well as communities throughout the state of Kentucky.  As keynote speaker, Mayor Mick Cornett will share how his focus on urban design, health, sports and the arts have led to Oklahoma City’s remarkable renaissance.

About Mayor Mick Cornett
