100 Wise Women series goes virtual – register now for October 29th event featuring Erica Lee Williams

Announcing the 100 Wise Women Speakers for 2020

Leadership Louisville Center to present 100 Wise Women events – Next virtual event is Oct. 29th

Together with presenting sponsor Chase, the Leadership Louisville Center and Today’s Woman magazine host 100 Wise Women events to bring successful women leaders – Wise Women – together with emerging women leaders to share perspectives on themes presented by distinguished keynote speakers.

The 2020 event series will continue to deliver inspirational leadership stories and facilitate connections to grow the circle of professional relationships for women participants but will be hosted in a virtual environment where needed.

The event on Oct. 29th features Judge Erica Lee Williams who has served as a presiding judge in Jefferson District Court since 2009. She is known for being no-nonsense and decisive. Elected to serve in this role, her words spoken and decisions made from the bench can alter the course of a teenager’s path, help a family in distress and, when necessary, remove a menace from the streets of our society.

She has been recognized in Louisville Magazine as one of the 50 most powerful people in Louisville, and one of the 40 most influential women in the community by Business First, and is a graduate of the Leadership Louisville Class of 2014. Erica serves on the Board of Directors for the Governor’s Scholars Program, Fund for the Arts, and the Louisville Bar Association.

100 Wise Women attendees will hear Wiliams’ career journey and make connections through breakout sessions facilitated by ‘wise women’ hosts.

Registration is now open for the Oct. 29th event at www.leadershiplouisville.org/our-events/100-wise-women/. This event will be held from 8-9:45 a.m. and will be hosted in a virtual format.
