Bingham Fellows now accepting applications
REGIONAL PARTNERSHIPS: Creating the landscape of the future.
How can we change the way we think and act together as a region to ensure balanced metropolitan growth?
The Bingham Fellows Class of 2008 will be the catalysts for this change using GE's change acceleration tools. The class begins in January, 2008.

Leaders in the News
 Gov. Ernie Fletcher has appointed Kentucky Court of appeals Judge Lisabeth Hughes Abramson (LL '07) of Louisville to the Kentucky Supreme Court, to fill the seat of the late Justice William McAnulty.
Abramson is a graduate of the University of Louisville Law School.
Tom O'Brien (LL '07) (IL '05) was recently appointed to the Board of Overseers at Bellarmine University. He was also re-elected to a third term as President of the Friends of the Louisville Zoo, Inc., the Zoo's fund-raising board.
 IQS Research announced a new division called the Center for Healthcare Reimbursement.
Shawn Herbig (IL '05), President of IQS, projects the new division will add 50 jobs over the next 5 years.

| In Memory of Mark Brashers
Mark Brashers, 2004 graduate of Leadership Louisville passed away on Aug. 30, after heart surgery. Mark served as vice president of corporate marketing at Greater Louisville Inc. for four years. He was an associate minister at St. Stephen Church in Louisville. The Leadership Louisville Center would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to Mark's family. |

Celebrate the award-winning achievements of your peers
 The Center for Non-Profit Excellence will hold its 7th Annual Leadership & Awards Conference on Oct. 10 at Galt House East.
David Stillman, nationally-acclaimed generations expert, speaker and writer, will kick off the conference with his powerful presentation, "Engaging Four Generations of Donors and Volunteers."

| Phoebe Wood will be keynote speaker at September's One Hundred Wise Women
Phoebe Wood (LL '05), vice chairman and chief financial officer of Brown-Forman Corporation, will be the keynote speaker at the third One Hundred Wise Women breakfast at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26 at The Muhammad Ali Center.
Launched in March by the Leadership Louisville Center and Today's Woman magazine, One Hundred Wise Women offers a unique forum for non-traditional mentoring and peer-to-peer conversation for women.

A new scholarship fund is now available to encourage emerging women leaders to participate in Leadership Louisville Center programs.
Interested applicants can apply via a scholarship form that's part of the Center's program application process.
