2007 Senior Games Two Leadership Louisville Center alumni are actively involved in the 2007 Senior Games. Alan Wheatley (LL '06, BF '07) is serving as chairman of the 2007 Senior Games and Ray Hoyt (LN '07) is the executive director. With little more than two weeks before 12,000 athletes arrive in Louisville for 18 days of competition, more than 1,000 volunteers are still needed to staff the 800+ sporting events. Volunteers are needed to staff events ranging from badminton, shuffleboard and bowling to triathlon, softball, basketball and more. Anyone 14 and over can volunteer (children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult; children under 18 must have an adult sign their waiver). The minimum shift requirement is 4 hours. All volunteers will receive a limited edition Senior Games t-shirt, goody bag and a ticket to the Louisville Bats Game on July 8th. There are also special incentives for multiple shifts including a hat, sport bag and additional shirt. Click here for more information and to see the full competition schedule with dates, time and locations.
