Over 160 attend 100 Wise Women breakfast
The River Pointe Room at the Ali Center provided a beautiful setting for the gathering of Louisville's established and emerging women leaders. More than 30 wise women (see photos below) were on hand to meet with talented female professionals and executives. Many thanks to all who attended to teach, learn, and share.

Phoebe Wood (LL '05), vice chairman and chief financial officer of Brown-Forman Corporation, was the keynote speaker.
Phoebe's talk covered a brief history of women's roles in the world, and explained that our personal stories take shape in the context of three factors: geography (the place where we grow up), time (the era in which we live), and our DNA (the traits we inherited and our family environment).
Phoebe took time to share several engaging stories of unique experiences she's had in the course of her career. She offered a few lessons learned and encouraged the group to use their talents to their maximum, saying the world deserves that from each of us.
