Captain Karen Lee was speaker at May 20 event
 As director of UPS Airlines Safety, Captain Karen Lee is responsible for UPS’s flight, ground and maintenance safety, as well as the airline’s safety programs and emergency response.
Captain Lee breaks gender stereotypes with her leadership in the aviation industry. She began flying at age 16 and has been an aviation pioneer almost her entire life. She has received awards for her ground-breaking work, including the Katharine Wright Award for her vision in pioneering technology that is transforming the national air transportation system.
