Jackie Hays delivers wit and wisdom at May 7 100 Wise Women breakfast
 One of Louisville's favorite news anchors, Jackie Hays, WAVE-TV anchor, shared her career story with a group of about 150 women. She gave highlights of her career from flying with the Blue Angels to the thrill of riding a thoroughbred around the track at Churchill Downs. She also recalled the toughest aspects of her job, one of which was being assigned to talk to families of the victims of the Carrollton bus crash.
Jackie offered lots of sound advice, at one point quoting Vince Lombardi, “The dictionary is the only place where success comes before work. Hard work is the price we pay for success.”
