Wednesday, September 8 Keynote speaker, Julie Hermann University of Louisville Athletics      Julie Hermann is executive senior associate athletic director with University of Louisville. This means Julie is #2 in the U of L Athletic Department after director Tom Jurich. While Tom focuses on football, baseball and men's basketball, Julie is responsible for the other 500 or so female and male athletes at U of L. She supervises the athletic teams, student development, sports medicine, strength-and-conditioning, marketing and development. Before coming to U of L 13 years ago, Julie was a successful women's volleyball coach for USA Volleyball, University of Tennessee and Northern Arizona University. As a student athlete at the University of Nebraska, Julie was named Fellowship of Christian Athletes' College Athlete of the Year.  Julie is on the Board of Directors of NACWAA (National Association of Collegiate Women's Athletic Administrators) and Center for Women and Families.
