| The Leadership Louisville Center is a nonprofit, member-oriented resource whose mission is to grow and connect a diverse network of leaders who serve as catalysts for a world-class community.
History
It all started back in 1979 when community leaders Wilson Wyatt, Barry Bingham, Nana Lampton, Maurice D.S. Johnson and David Jones, Sr. founded Leadership Louisville to ensure that Louisville's future leaders would be knowledgeable about issues, well networked, and passionate about the success of the community.
Initially, Leadership Louisville was organized under the auspices of the Louisville Area Chamber of Commerce. As its services grew, the Leadership Louisville Foundation became an independent organization with a mission of developing a diverse group of leaders to serve as catalysts for a stronger community.
